Watershed have been awarded 2 major refurbishment contracts with principal contractor ISG Regions.

The first project which is currently on site is at HMP Garth  – Preston and comprises flat to pitch conversions on 12 stair towers, installation of spitter outlets into existing stainless steel gutters and the overlay of all the flat roof areas with a single layer high performance roof system, with associated joinery works and outlet details.

The second project due to start later this month is the re-roofing of 2 wings and a chapel at HMP Leeds (Armley). The work comprises a large timber replacement package, roof and rafter tie downs, stainless steel roofing, single ply roofing, roof lights and rainwater goods.

Total value across the 2 projects is in the region of £1 million.

Due to the sensitive nature of the sites Watershed have had a number of operatives security cleared through NOMS national database and now have enhanced clearance to enable works in prison facilities nationwide.
